October - Morobe Show, Lae. (Papua New Guinea)

The first Morobe Show was in 1959 and it has continued yearly ever since. The Show portrays the agriculture, animals and cultural life of the people in the district where there are over one hundred languages spoken by the local people. The dress worn by the locals is traditional, scary at times, but very colourful.

    Nice photos of the tribes men, the helmets that they are wearing in photo 6 and 7, what are they made of ?
    What are they covered in, looks like mud
