On the way from Phnom Penh to Siem Reap the bus ran out of fuel and we were stuck for over two hours until the driver was able to restart the engine with fuel from the local police station.

Siem Reap is the gateway or local town for the tourist to visit Angkor Wat and the surrounding monuments. It is not a busy town and is quite easy to get round.

The killing field information and small exhibition was in the grounds of Wat Thmey and consisted of photographs of those missing at the time with bones that had been dug up locally. It was quite different to the one in Phnom Penh but was very real none-the-less.
