14 June – Humayun’s Tomb, Delhi (India)

Humayun's Tomb is a 16th century tomb built by Haji Begum the senior wife of the second Mughal emperor Humayun. The buildings are made of red sandstone and marble. There are other tombs in the magnificent gardens and it was a pleasure to see the water flowing through the canals, ponds and fountains, it made so much difference when compared to the gardens of the Red Fort.
